IP Phone over VPN

I'm having a weird issue which I hope someone can shed some light on. The setup is a PIX 515 at HQ, and an 827-4V at home. ISP and VPN connection is solid with good latency. The Softphone works perfectly, inbound and outbound. The IP Phone (7960) comes online and can receive calls just fine, although any attempt to make an outbound call locks up the phone for appx 30 seconds then resets. This occurs immediately after an 'accurate' phone number is dialed according to the dial plan.

'fixup skinny' is enabled on the PIX, and I'm using G.729a.

We had exactly same issue but that was solved by removing 'fixup skinny & fixup h323' Did you tried that?

No I haven't. Was told to add it in actually! I'll remove it and give it a try.

6.1.1.110 build fixes this issue without the removal of fixup skinny. This will also be fixed in public release 6.2.
