ip phone registration


we meet an issue with registration for some devices. We have a cluster of two ccm with version 4.1.3. centralized cluster with few remote site

- some many device pool

- two ccm group

most device pool use subscriber as primary ccm

- Subscriber and publisher are in the same subnet

- the issue we have is that all remote devices and few devices on central site are registered with publisher.

- Devices are configured manually (ip address and tftp server)

- We reinstall subscriber server after a crash disk

Do you have any idea

check the SQL synchronization to the subscriber from the publisher. verify all is up-to-date with the DB and it is synch'ing when changes are made.

did the rebuilt subscriber get the same CCM version, same WinOS build, same Patches/hotfixes for CCM, WinOS and SQL? (check for out of version sync components from the ccmAdmin help menu)

also, verify the phone has been reset so it may attempt to register to the proper subscriber.

you may want to check all subscriber CCM services that are supposed to be running. verify they are and/or restart callManager service.

subscriber is installed with the same version on ccm

with os we have difference:

on publisher

-os image 2.6

- os upgrade 4.2

- release 4.2sr3


os image 2.7

os upgrade 4.2

os release 4.2.3sr3

CCM 4.1.3 on the same server

this incident is resolved. Firewall block subscriber communication with device phone
