We are looking at installing some IP phones in classrooms but are concerned about their physical security. What suggestions do you all have that is low cost and somewhat effective? Most locations the phones will be wall mounted. Some locations it may be on a teaching console.
Well that is still in debate. I'm pushing for 7940s but because of cost we may end up with 7905Gs. It is good to know that the 7940's have that part orderable. Another reason for me add to the list why we should go with 7940s.
That description was probably written a long time ago before the 7905 was even being thought about. That part will definately not work with the 7940/7960.
If you look at the back of a 40/60, the kickstand is held onto the phone by two pegs. The locking wall mount uses these two holes to attach to the phone. Since the 7905 is totally different, it wont work.
