IP Phone Services for Developers: Headset Button State
I'm trying to determine the state of the Headset Button on 794X 796X but can't seem to find the right call. Of course I am able to progamatically set the state but I need to check the state beforehand...preferably without having to resort to (J)Tapi.

Have you checked if there's a difference in the phone status page (the one you can get by accessing the phone's IP in a web browser) when that button is pressed (versus when it isn't)? But I suppose there'd be no difference between the headset and the speaker button being pressed.
I'm not even sure JTAPI can do it.. I know the entire number block is supported but I don't recall if any other buttons (and which) are supported.. all I can tell you without looking at the documentation is that not all of the buttons can be monitored (plus you only get state changes).
