IP Phone unable to go to ready status

Have a user with a 7961 that is unable to go to ready state i the Desktop agent. Tried removing and installing agent client, but did not work. Any ideas?

Would removing/reinstalling the device in CCM resolve the problem of the phone not being able to returm to a Reday status in the Desktop agents group?

This sounds like a device association problem. Go in the global directory and make sure that the agent is associated with a phone. Then make sure that the same phone is associated with rmuser for IPCC. If the phone is not associated with rmuser, then the desktop agent will not allow you to change states.
