IP phones and Callmanager

Could

someone help me resolve the following questions ?

1) Can I use Avaya IP phones instead of Cisco IP phones with cisco Catalyst 3524-PWR-XL switch?

2) Will I be able to manage those IP Phones using Cisco Callmanager 3.3 installed on a Compaq Proliant DL380 G2 server?

3) On the Cisco Callmanager procurement quotes that I received, a minumun of 2500 CALs was always listed ? Is it possible to buy a number of licences lower than 2500?

4) One segment of the prjected LAN is offsite and will be connected to the rest of the LAN through a wireless connnection with a Cisco Cisco 1760-V with 24-user SRST Feature License at one end and a Cisco 2610XM at the other end. Will such configuration be functional?

Thanks

Djosse

Re: IP phones and Callmanager

Question 1: Avaya 4602, 4620SW, 4630SW, and 4624 w/ 30A switch adapter can support proprietary Cisco inline power from the 3524-PWR XL switch. This was tested and proven at Avaya labs.
