When i install fixed IP adresses on the phones everything is workling fine.

when i´m configuring a DHCP-Server on the MCS-Server the phone-models

CP7940/60 are resetting continously.

A CP7905 phone is working fine.

Are there known issues?

You should be sure that the 7940/7960 are getting an IP address from the DHCP server (I think they never get one), you can go to your DHCP Server to see the IP assigned to the terminals and try a Ping to them.

Assume you have configured option 150 under DHCP or set the phones up with "Alternate TFTP" and entered a TFTP Server.

Daisy chaining the IP Phones will also have the effect of continuous reloads.

You can also try adding a host record for ciscocm1 to your dns pointing at your cm running the TFTP service. If this is in the default domain sent out by your DHCP server the phones will resolve this to get the TFTP.

Hi all,

The issue seems to be fixed.

All was configured fine (option 150)

The phones also gets IP Addresses and all other information.

The problem in this case:

The telephonport to the switch was set to 10full and the inline-powerswitch-port to auto/auto.

This is causing a permanent reloading of the phone.
