I have different types of IP Phones that would not reregister to Call Manager if there is a brief loss of connectivity like a switch reset. The only way for the phones to reregister is to unplug the cable at the back and plug it back again. Any ideas where the problem may be or has anybody experience this problem.
This problem occurs sometimes due to improper DHCP leases. Do the IP Phones get the IP addresses ever, after the loss of connectivity without being disconnected physically and reconnecting it back? IF the phones are getting IP addresses and after that it is not registering, then that could be a bug. If it is the DHCP issue, then you could start and stop the DHCP services.
