IP Phones Vpn Connection Error

I establish a vpn connection to the enterprise and when i get logged in the network i start the IP phone software.

The problem is when i try to call someone in my enterprise i have to type the entire telephone number instead of the last 4 number.

i think that in this case i could connect directly to the users on the enterprise, because with the Vpn i have a local address.

If i dial the entire number(7 digits) the call is established.

But if i dial the Local number (4 Digits) the call is established but i can't hear the destination and viceversa.

What could be the problem?

Re: IP Phones Vpn Connection Error

This error suggests that you have a connection to the CallManager, but no route (ip route) to the end-user phones. (or they have no route to you)

Can you ping to/from the VPN range and a user's phone?

HTH,

Paul
