IP Phones

Hello,

I have this simple IP phones setup using 4 Cisco 7912. Everything is fine and i have the features i want working fine. I decided to switch one of the 7912 for a 7960. After updating the "mac-address" and "type" in the router, i realised that the phone is still unable to register with the router. The phone displays that it is opening a different gateway, one that is not set by me. (That is probably from a previous setup the phone was used in right?) Please advice on how i can rectify this. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Re: IP Phones

You can erase the old config by pressing the Settngs button on the phone then pressing 3 for Network Config ->33 for Erase Config, press **#, and then Yes sofkey.

I am assuming you have CallManager Express so also make sure you have corresponding phone load for 7960 on the router and referenced in configuration.
