I have a CM 3.2(2a) and Softphone 1.3 - this is connected to a Meridian via a 2610 voice gw with a E1 PRA - calling from normal IP phone to the outside world or a Meridian extension is ok, however when placing calls from a softphone to either of these destinations causes two sets of ringing tones while the call is proceeding.
Calling from softphone to 79X0 phone is ok. Any ideas? The gateway PRA config is as follows:
no ip address
no logging event link-status
isdn switch-type primary-net5
isdn protocol-emulate network
isdn incoming-voice voice
isdn bchan-number-order ascending
no cdp enable
dial-peer voice 5 pots
progress_ind alert enable 8
progress_ind progress enable 8
The calls are matched on the dial-peer 5 detailed above. I have tried turning off the alert and progress PIs. The problem is intermittent, but happens for 9 out of 10 calls....
Sounds like you are getting out of band ringback from ccm and then the audio is being cut through which is giving you inband ringback from the pstn. You will probably need to look at a debug voip ccapi inout and see if when you are seeing the problem you may not be hitting the correct dial-peer or you may also need a debug isdn q931 to see if something is different.
