case: callmanager 3.3 in combination with a 1760 gateway containing 3 VWIC-2BRI-NT/TE cards for termination of the provider isdn lines

question: how can we make isdn modem calls from the inside network? which equipment should be used to connect these isdn modems to?

Unfortuneately the VIC BRI Cards can only support

voice calls , they won't do modem or data calls. Aboutr the only way to do this is to use an external ISDN TA that will terminate the data calls and feed the traffic to the router via a serial port.
