IPCC Express DB Query Question

Is it possible to query the Overall ICD Stats for the total number of calls in queue from something like a html/php page?

Our call center has a couple large projectors and I would like to be able to display the number of calls in queue in a large format.

Re: IPCC Express DB Query Question

Usually call centers use wallboards to display their real-time reporting status.

Wallboards can display data such as available agents in CSQs, call volumes, talk times, wait times, and number of handled calls.

You can enable the CRA system to write ICD real-time information to a database that can then be displayed on a wallboard.

Take a look at the section "The Real-time Snapshot Config Menu Option" from the following URL,

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/sw_ap_to/apps_3_1/english/admn_app/cra_adm/toolmenu.htm#1132077

This can be accomplished in many ways, the following are the few ways,

1) The easiest way to implement is to add a web application that is triggered via http. Design the script to use the Get Reporting Statistics steps to obtain the desired info and present it back to a browser which can be projected on the wall. To do HTTP trigger you need have IVR License.

Info about deploying web enabled apps can be found in:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/sw_ap_to/apps_3_0/english/admn_app/develop/index.htm ')>

2) The other way is by using any web scripting language to query the DB directly and display the data in a browser which can be projected on the wall.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Venkat
