IPCC Express OnDemand Recording + Catalyst 3550

Hi.

Quick question. I know that I need to span the agents port in order to get recording to work. The problem is I'm having a Catalyst 3550 Inline Power switch running 12.1(13)EA1a and when I tried the monitor command with the "both" command in order to span TX/RX frames I received an error saying that because of the platform I can use "both" in only one interface.

I think that I need to use "both" in all agents interfaces, Am I right? if so how do I accomplish that in the 3550 Switch..

TIA,

-Jose

Do you need to monitor Agent to Agent calls? If not, make sure your CRS/VOIP Monitor Server is plugged in to the same switch as your voice gateway. If you do that you will only need to SPAN one port, the voice gateway port. You will then be able to monitor/record Agent to PSTN and vice versa calls.
