ipcc transfer

We have configured on ICM script which trasfer all incomings calls to ext. 3333 which is an old pbx call center, if there are no logged agents.

CCM has route list pointing to route group where i have two h323 5300 gateways. First of them has priority number 1, this gateway is on site A. And the second device priority number 2, which is on site B.

The issue is: We have tried to simulate problems in a network to see how it will be working. And found out that if no agents are logged in, CCM is not able to transfer incoming call to new ext. 3333 if gateway on site A is down. CCM is not able to transfer it to gw on site B, after ccm get ext. from ICM. But if you make call to when gw A is down from ip phone, the call is connected to gw B.

It seems like it is not working if ccm get ext. from icm and try to make forwarding to other gw than priority 2. But on the other hands if you try to call from ip phone you make a call to other gw than priority 1

why does it happen like this?

Re: ipcc transfer

Hi Ivan,

Can you clarify a bit further with the call flow please, whether the failed call is from PSTN?

You might need detailed tracing on the CallManager to show the failure on the type of test call, and compare that to the successful call using an internal ip phone.

Regards

Bernard.
