IPMA in 7940

In ccm 3.3(3)

anybody knows how the intercom line is used if the manager is configured in a 7940 Phone?

Must he dial the DN of the intercom line of his assistant, or there is any workaround to calling his assistant without having to dial this DN?

I believe the Intercom line on the Managers phone is an Incoming Intercom line only. The assistant calls it using the Assistant Console.

The manager can't call directly to assitant intercom?

I think this is one of the main features for IPMA.

Any workaround?
