Does anyone have an IPMA roleout that is problem free?
We have it rolled out and for the majority of users is working well. Main problem we are seeing is after Tomcat/IPMA Service restart around 20 manager phones lose the assistant watch and throw back http request error.
Its a strange one as we have taken the phones that do not work and plugged them into a lab with a clean database and IPMA seems to work just fine. It points to data curruption of some sort and understanding the BLOB is proving very difficult.
Even if you remove the device from the SQL database (by removing it from within CCM Admin page) and then adding it back the problem still exists.
Interested in anyone that knows anything about this.
Main errors seen in event viewer on the Publisher are:
Error: GetNewFileName-fopen in wb mode failed to update existing file. szFileNumberName = C:\Program Files\Cisco\Trace\MA\MADirectory~num.bin.
Main problem seen on the IPMA server (running on one of the subscribers that is also the primary CTI Manager) is as follows:
3931442: May 23 15:36:40.296 BST %MA-3-UNK:[ProxyLineManager:6666] switchDevices() - Error while getting deviceInformation :SEP0014F12A3456 Error:com.cisco.cti.client.TimeoutException
3931443: May 23 15:36:40.296 BST %MA-SERVICE-7-UNK:com.cisco.cti.client.TimeoutException
Obviously I have changed the above references with dummy mac and manager extension but the rest of the error is intact.
