I recently upgraded to IPTV server 3.2 and am having problems with client sessions not terminating when the client quits IPTV. I am also seeing the control server refuse new connections even though the available bandwidth has not been reached. Any ideas?
Re: IPTV problems with VOD connections not closing.
For the 1st issue, please clarify. Are you talking about unicasts or multicasts? If multicast, the server will not stop streaming when any particular client leaves the session. If unicast, streaming session should correspond to client usage.
2nd issue. This sounds like a configuration issue in Content Manager under the preferences heading. There are default bandwidth management settings per server, per cluster, or per session that may not correspond with what you originally may have configured.
