Is there a way to have multiple Unity Opening Greetings?

User needs to be able to have a different auto attendant greeting depending on the dialed DID number.

In Unity, all the unidentified calls go the the default Opening Greeting Call Handler, which allows only one message.

Can this be done with the Call Routing rules in Unity?

Thx in advance....John

Yes. You can setup multiple call handlers and then use the call routing menu to setup which call handler is played based on the called/calling number.

You may need to do something like this to make it work properly though:

Create a CTI route point. Then add a DN in the route point that matches your DID. Set that DN to forward all calls to the primary voicemail DN. Then in Unity make the call routing rule for forwarded calls from the new route point DN you created to go to the call handler you want.

That being said, I'm having issues making it work when Web Attendant forwards to voicemail. It does not seem to send the called party info. which makes it always go to the default call handler. Anyone have an idea on that one? CCM 3.11 & Unity 2.46

Thanks,

Thanks Brian, CTI Route Points did the trick.

I just assigned extensions to the call handlers that matched the DN's in the RP and it worked, no need for the routing rule.
