ISDN PRI Unallocated/Unassigned number error

Hi Pros,

I have a CCM Setup with 2 servers & one Voice Gateway (2811). I have configured the Voice Gateway for DID PSTN Access. The problem is ---

My calls are going to PSTN successfully, but incoming calls to router fail to reach CCM & when I debug isdn q931 it says disconnect due to Unallocated/Unassigned number. ISDN cause code 8081. I tried putting the command isdn overlap−receiving T302 2000 on the serial interface & destination-pattern 1T to dial peer (VOIP) but no avail.

Service Provider is using Lucent 5Ess ISDN switch. Wonder how the isdn stays up whether I use primary-net5. It works with primary-5ess also.

My router configs is as below:

Re: ISDN PRI Unallocated/Unassigned number error

Normally that error means that the called number doesnt exist in the destination device dial plan.

Please check CSS of Gateway in CCM and you dial-peers VOIP in gateway so they match the proper digits in CCM.

Based on your config [1]... you should send in H225 SETUP message called number IE a 1xxx number.

Re: ISDN PRI Unallocated/Unassigned number error

Can you paste a debug isdn q931 output ?

Is the telco sending 4 digits ?

When you change switch types, its usually recommended to reboot the router.

Are you using overlap send-receive ? You dont need to add/remove those commands unless you are using overlap/send/receive.

Also, i would recommend adding a voice class h323 to support H323 redundancy to Pub and Sub.

voice class h323 1

h225 timeout tcp establish 3

dial-peer voice 100 voip

voice-class h323 1

dial-peer voice 101 voip

voice-class h323 1

Re: ISDN PRI Unallocated/Unassigned number error

If you paste your debug isdn q931 for the incoming call will be great!

Re: ISDN PRI Unallocated/Unassigned number error

What I know is the Service Provider is using EnBlock ISDN Information messages. I will paste the debug soon.

Re: ISDN PRI Unallocated/Unassigned number error

Issue resolved after adding CSS to CCM Gateway!
