the situation is: We want to push ITS to a customer with few phone (40) and he likes this solution. The only issue is that he needs redundancy so, we could put in place another ITS router with similar configuration to the first one and use HSRP between them. The phone should register with the active one and, in case of fault, re-register with the second one. My question is: will it work? IF yes, the phone will re-register automatically to the new ITS router or the customer will have to reboot manually the phone? Is it a supported configuration?
The connection to the pstn is not local to the its router. It's on a remote GW connected via IP network. So there is not problem, both router point to it to go out and for incoming did, in the pstn GW router, there are two peer, one primary and one secondary.
