I have a client whom want to install a IVR solution for entrance of orders of sales.
Somebody could say to me what I must consider and which are the components to incorporate in the solution. Since I never worked with Systems IVR.
Regards.

If they are running or are going to use Cisco CallManager, then they can use our IP IVR system that can integrate with it. The data sheet is at:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/unco/ipivr/prodlit/ipivr_ds.htm
Yes, you should definitely be able to create an IVR workflow that allows callers to enter sales orders, check status, etc. as the IVR can communicate with a database using an ODBC interface.
If you need assistance for developing the application you can go to:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/570/
which is a link to Cisco's Developer Support program. Also you can send email to developer-support@cisco.com
Although that is the email address given, I think you may need to use developer-support@external.cisco.com so please try to use that if the first address fails.

What is the Step by Step proccess of placing an order? If it is very proccess completed Cisco IVR solution may not do the Job. But I would need more information to say.

Cisco recently invested in a company called Interactive Intelligence ( http://www.inin.com ) which has a fantastic IVR solution that works great with the AVVID architecture and is a fraction of the price of the Cisco IP IVR. Check it out.
