JTAPI initiating calls from IP-Phone to PSTN, is it possible ?

Hi all,

We are trying to developp a Click-to-Dial application with JTAPI & CCM.

We've studied the Cisco-provided 'MakeCall' sample JAVA application, and built our own JAVA application.

First, we created a new dedicated user on CCM, and checked the cti-application-use box.

After having tried our first call, our Click-to-Dial application answered " Caught exception javax.telephony.InvalidArgumentException: Address 3722 is not in provider's domain."

Then we associated all IP-Phones with this user and we were able to initiate a call from any of these phones to another one.

That's great, but not enough for our customer because when we try to call the outside world, we get a similar message "Address not in provider's domain..."

It seems that we are limited to internal calls (CCM devices), and we were wondering if a JTAPI application could be able to initiate a call from an IP-Phone to a PSTN-Phone (through a gateway)

Any help would be VERY appreciated, we're stuck !

Thanks in advance.
