This is going to sound a little crazy, but we are looking to put some IP phones in a area that is prone to getting sprayed with water. Our existing Key system phones have a clear plastic membrane type cover over the keypad to protect them.
Does anyone know of any similar covers for Cisco Phones? No jokes about phone condoms please... :-)
I found a solution. If anyone else is in need of some sort of protective cover for the phones, check out http://www.viziflex.com
They have covers for the 7960 keys and I've just sent them a 7905 to make a template for. The covers are $7.50 each and adhere to the phone with tape that is included. For phones used in an environment where hand are wet or dirty, or there is water that could be sprayed on them. This is a good solution. They will also make templates for any phone you send them with a 2-3 week turnaround time. Thanks! - Ed

the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
