Latest 7960 Firmware?

Where can I find the latest version of the 7960 firmware, and where can I find the instructions on how to load it?

Hi Jeffrey,

The latest 7960 firmware is 8.0(1).Note that there is a readme file, along with the firmware to download, that will hopefully answer your questions:

The firmware image within the 8.0(1) install program is named P00308000100, and supports the Skinny Client Control Protocol (SCCP) for the following Cisco IP Phone models:

Cisco IP Phone 7940

Cisco IP Phone 7960

This firmware version is supported on Cisco CallManager Release 5.0 and higher, and releases 4.2, 4.1, 4.0, and 3.3.
