LDAP Access Error in CDR Reporting Login

In ccm 3.3.4, when trying to login to the CDR reporting module, I get a plain web page with the message:

[LDAP Access Error. Contact System Administrator.]

I don't think anyone has ever accessed the module, so I don't know if it ever was working or not.

Any pointers on how to fix or troubleshoot this connectivity issue?

This is a Windows 2003 integrated domain, not the local DCD. The other portions of Callmanager using AD LDAP lookup appear to be working correctly.

If you go to Active Directory, do you have the group CiscoAdminRepToolAdminGroupUsers?

Is the user you are trying to access CAR a part of this group?

you can try the default username/password, admin/admin also

You can use PASSWORDUTILS to generate proper passwords.

The solution was to re-run the Callmanager Active Directory connector installation that came with our current version of Callmanager. It looks like this should be run each time Callmanager is upgraded to ensure that the latest AD/LDAP stuff is in place.
