Least cost routing Dial Plan question

We have 10 digits DID extensions. How can I setup dial plan so that when users dial 91XXX-XXX-XXXX the Call Manager first tries to lookup if the 10 digit number exists inside before trying to route the call through PSTN gateway.

Thanks,

Re: Least cost routing Dial Plan question

This might work for you.

CSS1 --> partition1;internal_phones

Create a translation pattern:

91.XXXXXXXXXX

Partition -- none

Calling Search Space -- CSS1

Discard digits -- Predot

Add a Route pattern:

XXXXXXXXXX

Partition -- partition1

Route list/gateway --

Prefix Digit -- 91

Result--> When the IP phone dial 912142621000, the translation pattern will strip 91, and resulting number will be 2142621000 which will be compared with existing internal extensions for match. If match is found that extension will ring. If no match is found, the call will go to the route pattern, and out the gateway.

Re: Least cost routing Dial Plan question

Makes sense. Thank you! So if I understood correctly is it true that translation patterens have higher priority than route patterns?

Yes, translation pattern will be matched first, and then route pattern.

Ok Cool. Assuming we have multiple sites how would we configure AAR in this scenerio?
