I have licenses for 100 users in UM mode. Say, if a set of users only need VM access (and not need any of the License Features like Faxmail/Viewmail, etc), does that mean i can add as many of the users as i want into the system? Reason i ask is because i can create a COS that doesn't include any of the Licensed Features.
Suprisingly enough, the Unity licensing scheme doesn't allow folks to add as many users as they want in this scenario... the accounting folks tend to frown on that type of thing.
If you purchased UM licenses, every user you add to the system will count as a UM license regardless of if they're using UM or only VM features - that's the TOTAL number of subscribers you can have on the system regardless of features used. You can't mix VM and UM users on the same license at the moment so that's how the counts are enforced.
