License Ordering for Active Directory

Hi,

i have a doubt relating on what license is needed for Active directory.

I mean i want to use an external MCS with W2003 OS as LDAP Server for a CUCM 7.0 solution.

I need to know what license i have to buy for this server, for sure the w2003 OS license, but do i need also some license for Active Directory ?

Thanks

V.

Re: License Ordering for Active Directory

There wasn't any licensing cost for W2003 LDAP. You can use you MS AD user account. The big key is to find out how MS AD has you registered. One way was my name and the other corp/UID. I used a tool called Softerra to help me find out how to attach to MS LDAP.
