Line status on speed dials

Is there a way to see if a line associated to a speed dial is busy or free?

If no, it has been scheduled for a future release?

With the current version of Cisco CallManager there is no way to do this. With the 3.2 release of CallManager you can configure it as a shared line and use the label to replace the directory number with the name of the person. This way you can see the status of the line. This works very well with the cp-7914 expansion module. You can also disable ring on this lines. I think I have heard of a monitor speed dial type instance, but am not really sure if it has been committed yet or not.

Thanks McKee, I have already tested the configuration you are suggesting me with CM 3.2. But I think this functionality will be more useful when it'll be associated to a speed dial rather than a shared line. Please let me know if you find more information about this 'monitor speed dial type instance' and if or when it'll be committed.
