Link to voice type ISDN

Hi,

I have a problem with voice gateway that its configured a link type ISDN to voice, only that i can to do four calls in same times.I want to do eight call on same times

This is the configuring

How can i do to obtein 8 calls to same time?

If you reboot router, does it work? which exact IOS is this ?

Hi Jorge,

This configuration looks fine. It's possible you don't have enough DSPs. If you have a PVDM2-8 ('show inventory' can confirm) and are using a high complexity codec, this would be the problem.

Otherwise - can you show what 'debug isdn q931' looks like on the 5th call? It may be an issue with the other end.

I used the command "show inventory"

I have 2 card FXO that the router does not use it. This card can it use dsp and affect the calls?

How can i obtain best performance in the use the dsp?

Hi Jorge,

By having the FXO cards they will use DSP resources.

You should have enough DSPs to do what you're trying to configure.

Can you let us know what 'show run | s voice-card' and 'show voice dsp group all' looks like?

Hi Jorge,

You have enough DSPs to do this. There's a good chance that there is a problem with the configuration on the other end of this. What does 'debug isdn q931' show for the 5th call?

That shows that we're disconnecting the call because we don't have enough resources. This looks like something else is going on, and would require some extensive debugging.

You can check 'show voice call summary' and 'show voice port summary' and 'show call active voice brief' to see if you have any ports in a stuck state, or any abnormally long calls to see if they're using up your resources.

Hola, I think you should have clock source internal for controller e1 0/0/1.

Also, as Nick was asking, pls take a debug isdn q931 when the 5th calls fails.
