load balancing in cluster

Hello,

recently i installed one cluster : Publisher and Subscriber. I have more that 500 phone in my remote sites and i want make a load balancing for call processing; then register 250 to publisher and others to subscriber.

When i enable the auto registration in the subscriber i find that phone areregistred with the primary.

Thanks for your help.

Re: load balancing in cluster

Check the Callmanager group that is enabled for Auto registration. It might have the publisher listed first.

Re: load balancing in cluster

Hello,

The CCM group is enable for auto registration, and i have enabled just the subscriber for auto registring. In the order, the subscriber is the first and the publisher is the second. However, the status for phone registred is always ip address of publisher ??

Thanks,

Re: load balancing in cluster

make sure the callmanager service is running on the subscriber. Also on the phone go to settings->network config->callmanager1 and 2 and see if both are listed.

To accomplish the load balancing you will need to create 2 seperate ccmgroups with different ccm order, assign respective ccmgroups to 2 device pools, and then assign the corresponding device pools to phones.
