Local Security for 7960/7940

Is there any way to provide a security/numeric lock for CISCO 7960/7940, so that while leaving for home we can lock the IP phone & In morning we can open it?

Hi

There isn't as far as I know (unless you're on CME?) - however you could achieve similar results by using extension mobility.

You could have phones with 'dummy' extensions sat on desks that could (for example) only call internally.

When users come in in the morning they log into the phone using a username/password, and get their device profile which allows them to call externally and puts their extension number, speed dials or whatever onto the phone.

How can i do it for a IP phone which is having multiple extension???...I do have 7960 which holds more than 8/10 lines...how should i proceed for that one?
