Hi, I was working on a 2.46135 system this morning where the users were complaining about busy signals when calling unity. I noticed calls were only going in to the system on ports 6 and 8.(8 port system). The status monitor showed all ports idle. When I tried to reset port one, the program locked up and I got a windows error about the program not responding. It appeared that callmanager thought 6 of 8 ports were busy but unity didn't show that.
Any ideas as to the cause? Rebooting the system fixed it for now.
Thanks, Rich.

Any number of things could have caused this. The best way to trouble shoot a locked port system is to set traces on Unity and CCM during the lock and investigate those traces. Since the system has been restarted, you could take a look in Unity's app log to see if there were any errors leading up to the lock.

answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
