login NT idetification with unity

Hello team,

I'm using Unity 2.46. The unity server belongs to the NT domain of the customer site. When a user wants to administer Unity using IE5, automatically IE5 sends the NT information of the NT user login. Therefore Unity detects the ability of the user to administer or not Unity.

When we use an other NT domain (not trusted) or when we logged with no NT domain (login local to the PC), the browser (IE5) invit the user to enter the specific information in order to authenticate with unity (login / password / NT Domain).

I would like to retrieve this banner even if I've logged in NT Domain.

any ideas

thanks

Re: login NT idetification with unity

This is an issue with the Domains. When you login to a Windows domain you get a sorta "token". When you are on the same domain as unity the your pc is providing your "token". When you are on another non-trusted domain or workgroup there you have not logged into that domain so you don't have a "token". So you are asked for your crenditials.

Thank you,

-Mckee
