Login Softkey in IP Phones

Hello guys,

I read somewhere that the Login Softkey on the IP Phones allows to override call blocking but I don't understand what does it mean. Why the call is bloked and why we need to override it? Could you please put some lights on it?

Thanks,

In Callmanager Express, you can confgure Call Blocking to block certain patterns such as 91900 or all long distance calls during certain times of the day, days of the week, or dates. The Login softkey allows a particular user (such as a manager) to override this block by entering a pin number. The user can then make the call that otherwise would be restricted.

Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.
