Looking for equivalent IOS cmd for CatOS cmd sh mls entry
I just learned of a way to track down a specific device on my network using the CatOS command: show mls entry ip destination to find the dest port on my Cat6000, then using the show cdp neighbor to locate the layer 2 switch, then using the show mac-address-table command to find the exact port. I also have Cat4000 layer 3 switches running IOS and I would like to be able to track down devices in a similar fashion if that is possible. Is it? I realize that the show mls command does not have the same function in IOS that it does on CatOS, but is there an equivalent?
