Lost/nonfunctioning SA password.

I have customer who is upgrading their IVR server. It is on a bos seperate from the database it uses, which is residing on a Call Manager box running the standard SQL database.

When they try to upgrade the IVR server it asks for the SA password, which I assume is the one for call manager. The problem is, they didn't record it/it was changed in a previous CCM upgrade. Then they changed the SA password via the enterprise manager, but they still couldn't get past the "input SA password" screen in the IVR upgrade.

Is there any hope for this installation?

I am not sure of the exact solution for your problem. but the following FN talks about some sql passwd issue during upgrade
