Lucent PBX and X4604 GWY

Hi,

I have a T1-Pri connection between Lucent Definity PBX and the Catalyst 4006 gateway for phone integration purpose. Question is: in Lucent config, there is a connect feature which allows three choices; host, network and pbx. Which one should it be for connection between these two units ? Thanks for help.

There are various ways of doing it the prefered way is to use PBX and USer on the defininty and then set the Catalyst as though it is connecting to the network.

Try this configuration:

--------------------------------

Lucent: PBX

Cisco GW: Protocol side: User

If that doesn't work,

try:

Lucent: PBX

Cisco GW: Protocol Side: Network
