Mailbox full message

Unity 4.03 - you can enable a registry setting that prevents callers from leaving you a new message in your box if it's full. The problem is, this only works if the caller is an outside caller.

If another unity subscriber calls and leaves a message for a subscriber w/ a full mailbox, the message seems to work (to the caller) but it really goes into the unaddressed messages.

Has anyone been able to make it so that the "mailbox full" message applies to all callers, not just outside callers?

Re: Mailbox full message

If the message is left from another subscriber it wont get bounced to the unaddressed messages DL, it'll get NDRd back to the sender - just as if you used an email client to send a mail to someone over their quota, it'll get bounced back to you.

The only reason outside caller messages get bounced to the unaddressed messages DL is becuase we don't know where to NDR it.

Checks are restricted to outside callers only primarily because they're expensive to do - trucking out across the network and querying the mailstore to see if it's over it's current quota takes a little time and adds traffic - since messages from subscribers are handled sunch that the sender will know it didn't get there the decision was made to limit it to outside callers only.

Thanks Jeff. As long as there is a reason, I can live with it!
