Is there a way for users to put their phones in a "busy" or DND state when they are away? I have sereral hunt groups set up with users running the attendant conole and they are looking for a way to let everyone know when they are out of the office or otherwise unavailible.
Thanks in advance!

You could set Forward All to voicemail. Will that work? You can also use extension mobility feature. The user would log out of the phone and his/her DN will not ring (will take caller directly to VM).

That is what we are currently doing. I was just looking for something that would show up on the console indicating that they were unavailible.
When the phone is forwarded it does not change the state of the phone in the attendant console directory.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Using Attendant Console as you describe, if you've setup your hunt groups to route to users (not lines), you should be able to go "offline" in the Attendant Console and have calls not route to that "agent". That being said, there is still no visible notification to others that the user is not available.
IPCC would give you the call center functionality it sounds like you are looking for here.
