Making a call using Cisco ATA 186 Analog Adapter

I have a ATA 186 adapter, it has a gateway IP address of a 3640 router which has a T1 card tied to the PBX. When I make a call from the Analog phone connected to the ATA adapter it rings on the other side and the call goes thru just for a couple of seconds, it disconnects immedialtly after that and I hear a busy tone on the analog phone.

Any suggestions ?

I'm not sure I can help, but let's see. Are you using the most recent version of the ATA SW? And is ther version installed on the 3640 recent too?

You can also try playing with signaling parameters in the ATA.

Are you using a callmanager in the picture? Or are you just doing straight h.323 integration to the pbx? What codec are you using?
