We are using CM 3.2. I made a custom ring tone and edited the ringlist.xml file as necessary according to instructions, and put that file in the TFTP path of all call managers in the cluster according to directions. My problem is that the new ring is not showing up in the list on the 7940/7960 phones (even after resetting the phone). I thought the xml display would always show the entire ring list even if the ring file isn't valid? Im thinking perhaps the sound file I made isn't valid and thats why it isn't showing up? Anyone have any suggestions? I added my file to the end of the list, and when it didn't show up, moved it more to the middle, it still doesn't show up. Its as if the list were never modified.???
