Re: Max Voicemails

There's no limit on the number of messages you can store, just the size of the hard drive and/or any limits you place on the Exchange mailbox size for users.

Here's a post on how much drive space voice messages take up based on which codec you're using (G711 is the default):

Re: Max Voicemails

Currently, I have 90 Users accessing the Unity system. One user is experiencing a VM trouble, this user has an account in Unity and all setting are entered (Profile, Account, Messaging...etc). This one user enters her password, gets greeting from Voice Mail system and advises of 5 VM messages. Problem, when user enters 1, she gets the following error message "Sorry System is Temporary Unavailable to Complete Your Call" At the same time no other users are experiencing a problem with Unity.

Thank you,
John

Re: Max Voicemails

whenever this failsafe conversation (i.e. the "I'm sorry, I can't talk to you now..." prompt) is played, one or more errors are logged to the Application Event Log. Can you look in there when this happens, it might give a clue as to what's happening.

It sounds like we're able to log into their box but one of the messages in the box is throwing us off... can you try opening Outlook for this user, marking those 5 messages read, then marking one at a time unread and calling in until you determine which message is causing the problem? If you can narrow it down we can check the message class on that guy and see if it's tripping us up for some reason.
