Should this destination pattern work?

PBX-----(AS5300 E&M)-----CallManager-----6608(PRI)

Legacy phones hanging off of the PBX need to dial a long distance number 312 555 1212 then they need to dial a 5 digit access code at the end (so the entire number they dial is 81312555121212345 - Then it is sent to CallManager where I strip the trailing 5 digits and send it out. This is a requirement of the customer that the 5 digit pin is dialed at the end. Any ideas on how to accomplish this.

Hi, The gateways can accept upto 31 digits as long the interdigit timer doesnt expire. Check out http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122cgcr/fvvfax_c/vvfpeers.htm#xtocid5.

In your case, I only suspect the PBX. May be it is not configured to accept the access code.
