MCS Backup cannot find latest Database

greetings.

as preparation for the 3.3 update i installed the sti-backup ( mcs-backup ) version 3.5.18 on my production-system subscriber. over the weekend i rebooted the system, and checked the functionality of the backup. it complains :

Fatal Error - Could not find a CallManager database on <my server>

when i check the sql-server logs, it tells me :

logon failed for user '(null)'. Reason : Not associated with a trusted SQL Server.....

enabling FULL trace for stiback does not give additional information.

where can i configure/change the corresponding settings ??

Is it hitting the know bug CSCdy63861 by any chance ? Check it out in the BugTool kit.The workaround is to do the backup from SQL

unfortunately not ! i need to have a good sti-backup for the 3.3 upgrade !
