MCS Box across the Wan link

Hi,

I Need a clarification: Can we install two mcs box across a wan link in a same cluster, i mean one publisher at one location and subscriber at another location. I have a 2mb frame-relay pipe connecting the two locations. each location has got around 75 phones and approximately 15 calls at any given time.

Thanks in advance.

Rgds

Re: MCS Box across the Wan link

That might not be enough. Recently, we've learned of a minimum requirement for working WAN clustering from Cisco TAC: at least 10mbit bandwidth and 20ms or better RTT. This obviously rules out most scenarios except DS3 or OC3-connected sites within a metro area.

I don't know of any public or official document detailing this requirement, so I welcome and encourage you to verify with TAC yourself.
