I am trying to record a greeting with the MM and it keeps coming up with an "Unknown error is preventing completion of the call." I do have the IP address set to the Unity server. The call goes to Unity as I see it in the status monitor (on the last port for some reason) but it never rings the phone and then it goes idle. Also, after several attempts, I got a IE internal error and then it closed the browser. The error was:

appname: iexplore.exe appver 5.51.4807.2300 modname: avmediamasterctrl.ocx modver: 2.5.0.79

Help, what am I doing wrong?

Is this integrated with a CallManager? If so you need to make sure that you have the correct call search space assigned to the port if the phone is in a partition.

Hi Keith,
You hit it right on the head again. It works when I put the Directory Number in question into the same partition as voicemail. But why should I have to do that?
