Hi,
We are using Unity 2.4 Build 22.214.171.124. Some users have tried the "paste from file" option in the Media Master (2,4,0,70) control but only get "Unable to paste the audio". The files are .wav files. Any suggestions? We have Windows 2000 server and Windows 2000 pro.

Well... not all WAV files are equal. WAV is just a format that includes a header at the top to tell the playback client the codec to use, sample rate and all that good stuff. It doesn't mean any application that can handle WAV files can play it back.
The only reason we should pop up that message is either the file is open by someone else (i.e. you had the greeting open and recording it from the phone at the same time... that doesn't seem likely) or the codec that WAV file was recorded with isn't something we like. The Media Master control (the VCR looking control on the form) handles a lot of codecs, though... I can't imagine you guys are using something overly weird.
I don't have much direct information about the files. One that we specifically tried was from answer.topcities.com. Do you have one that you know works with the Media Master? I could try to narrow down if it is our configuration or not. Thanks!
If you just want to do a quick test, grab one of the WAV files out of the NT\Media directory (you know, the "chimes" and "NT Login" sound that everyone loves so much). any of those will work, I use them all the time.
