Re: Meet me with CCM 3.2

Hi Narayan,

Now that you have tested the MeetMe with the 1234 test number, normally you would change the number to one that is accessable from the PSTN. So if your DID number range for phones is xxx-xxx-20xx to 22xx you would assign a number in the 20xx to 22xx range (like 2055)for the MeetMe conference. You could also leave the number and have people transferred in by a receptionist or possibly AA. If you are using Unity you could transfer callers in from a Call Handler.

The question about passcode authentication is a very common one with MeetMe, and as far as I know there is no built in mechanism for this. You go with Cisco MeetingPlace for this type of functionality.

Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 5.4

Hi

See this URL for meet-me conferencing with CME:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/ip_ph/ip_ks/cme32/mmdoc.pdf

There are some additional hardware requirements (i.e. CUE, extra E1/T1 ports and DSPs).

Re: Meet me with CCM 3.2

Hi Rob,

I have done that.

Actually i created a Meet me pattern with the extension 1234 for testing

Now as a moderator i am able to initiate the Meet Me conference.

Now say a user who doesn't have access to ur voip network wants to join the Meet Me conference from the PSTN cloud. What should be the number he should dial into.

Also is there a way to create a conference bridge which requires passcode authentication

Re: Meet me with CCM 3.2

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the info. Anyway i had already tested with the DID and found that it works fine.

My Main requirement was to have a passcode authentication for the conference rather than dialing the MeetMe extension after the DID.
